BB Update?
Hi... I really like BB, but am trying to decide if I'm sticking with it or taking a closer look at another crm... I know you can't give an exact date, but can you give me a ballpark as to when the updates will arrive? Not trying to put you on the spot, just trying to make some plans.
Thanks!

Hi Charlie,
We're always working on and releasing improvements and updates of some sort - what specifically are you waiting for? Do you mean the redesign?

Hi Scott... I have been using BB for several months now and really like it, but I have been reading in the forum about an overall upgrade of the system which sounded like more than just a redesign... functionality would also improve. If it's just changing the layout and colors that's fine; but if it's more than that then I am interested and excited to see what you and your colleagues release. So I am just curious as to a general release time (March, April, May?).
A CRM is like a lover :) You feed it personal information about your contacts and plans; it knows all about your failures and successes. And before you know it you have passed the infatuation stage and entered a relationship. Occasionally one frets that BB doesn't have this or that feature; you know its flaws well. So you start looking for something 'better'. You meet another CRM, and then one thing leads to another. Before you know it, you're importing small data sets, get excited about the other CRM's 'email marketing' or 'best practices' feature set, and then realize it just won't work. The sizzle is short-lived. On the surface, that other CRM looked great. And then after you look, you understand other products may have better this or that, but at the end of the day you see the beauty with BB. So you slink back to BB, hoping it never finds out, with a greater appreciation of why you fell for it in the first place.
A long way of saying... just looking for an improved BB... which I know you are always working on.
Thanks.

PS... BB and I have decided to stay together... but like any couple who understand their strengths and weaknesses, strive to get stronger. We're also thinking about a reality TV show with similar couples and their issues with their CRMs. :)

Charlie - Wow... that is probably one of the most hilarious yet true posts I have ever read on the forums.
Being someone who never speaks to my ex (Highrise).... I know the feeling.
I don't plan on cheating on BB anytime soon.

@Charlie Ha ha, that's a first! And people say CRM isn't sexy!
Thanks for the laugh. Please know your faithful BatchBook partner has been going to the gym, gotten a chic new haircut and has finally learned to wear more flattering colors. We look forward to the big "reveal" within the next couple of weeks :)

Anticipation is always the best part, isn't it?
Thanks:)
