What data can I import?

It is possible to import standard contact information into Batchbook from a variety of sources including Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, LinkedIn, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Highrise, Thunderbird, Macintosh Address Book, Excel, and Numbers.

This information usually includes items like name, address, phone #, email, and other typical contact information including custom fields that have been recreated in Batchbook as Custom Field Sets. If you have custom fields you'd like to import, check out our Importing Custom Information article.

Note that it is not currently possible to import additional items such as communications, deals, opportunities, to-do items, or events that you might have if migrating from another CRM product in to Batchbook via a .csv import. These items may be able to be migrated programmatically via our API with the aid of a developer. We can assist you with a referral to some folks who are proficient in this process if needed.
