Facebook

DUE TO CHANGES WITH FACEBOOK WE CAN NO LONGER SUPPORT FACEBOOK IN OUR SYSTEM. HERE IS A LINK TO THEIR SITE TO EXPLAIN IT FURTHER: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/api-v1-deprecation

Each user will see different things based on whether or not they've established a social media connection.

Once you've connected your Facebook account, the information we pull in will depend on what the contact has made public and whether or not you’re currently a ‘friend’ with that contact.

If you’re currently a ‘friend’ on Facebook you’ll see:

1. Their public and private profile information including name, image, job, location, education, and likes

2. Their last 3 wall posts

If you are not currently a ‘friend’ on Facebook you’ll see:

1. The profile information they have made public

Q: Can the other users on my account see my friend's Facebook information in Batchbook?

A: Only if that friend has made their information public, or if other users on your account are also friends with that contact on Facebook.

How to view Facebook data in Batchbook

First, you'll need to authenticate your Facebook account.

  1. Choose a contact. When you click the button that says "Social Search", we'll search Facebook for contacts with the same name and email.
